Sharon Cline received her nursing degree in 1968 from Church Home Hospital School of Nursing in Baltimore, MD, and has been a registered nurse in Maryland since then. She was a Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN) for nearly 20 years. Ms. Cline has a strong background in hospice and palliative care nursing and patient advocacy, with experience developing and delivering programs to staff, community organizations, and medical providers on a range of hospice and palliative care management topics. She has over 20 years of specialty experience in Oncology, Hospice, and Palliative Care Nursing. She has previously worked on units at Church Home Hospital in Baltimore, MD, St. Francis Hospital in Cincinnati, OH , and John’s Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. She also managed a Family Practitioner Office in Hagerstown, MD for 14 years. Ms. Cline has been affiliated with the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association since 1995.
